NEXT 4 WEEK COHORT: APRIL 2026
ENROLLMENT CLOSES APRIL 17TH
WEEKLY DISCUSSION TOPICS
Week 1: Embracing Change and Welcoming New Beginnings- In week one, we will be discussing the question, “Who and I, now?” and explore identity and changes that you are experiencing that have led you to where you are in your life, at this moment. We will sit with the question of, “Who am I, now?“. We will also explore how cultural and spiritual identities can help guide us, as well as ways that you may have been harmed by labels.
*A vision board activity will be a part of this session along with additions of poetry, music, sound therapy, spoken word, journaling or art media.
Week 2: Grief within the Black Experience & Boundaries- In week two, we will be navigating discussions around grief regarding loss, estrangement, racism, workplace stress. The impact of change and coping with stressors will be highlighted. We will also discuss boundaries, and what it means to set healthy boundaries, when you should set them, and how to accept when others set them for you.
*Poetry, music, sound therapy, spoken word, journaling or art media will be a part of this group experience.
Week 3: Relationships and Friendships- In week three, we will explore discussions around relationships and process topics of love, loss, and grief in romance, family, and friendships. We will discuss ways of identifying safety when building romantic and platonic relationships and how to show up in ways that benefit us and those involved while we heal.
*Poetry, music, sound therapy, spoken word, journaling or art media will be a part of this group experience.
Week 4: Mental Health, Diagnosis, Self-Care and Spirituality- In our closing week’s session, we are de-stigmatizing how to care for your mental health, exploring mental health diagnosis and identify ways that we can support ourselves. We will also discuss how to find safety on healing on this journey, aspects of self-care that sometimes get overlooked, and the role that spirituality can play in both helping and harming our self-identities. We will revisit the question of “Who am I, now” and explore examples of identity transitions.
*Poetry, music, sound therapy, spoken word, journaling or art media will be a part of this group experience.
